Middle Child Opens at Philadelphia International Airport

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Jackmont Hospitality, in partnership with High Places Concessions and MarketPlace PHL, has opened Middle Child at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Located in Terminal D, the new restaurant brings one of the city’s most talked-about sandwich shops to travelers looking for a taste of Philly.

Founded in 2017 by restaurateur Matt Cianfrani, Middle Child is known for its mix of diner comfort and creative flavor. Its sandwiches, brunch dishes, and signature “Shopsin Club” have earned a cult following in Center City and Fishtown. The new airport location carries that same sense of humor and heart, with a menu of hometown favorites alongside new items created exclusively for PHL.

“This opening represents what we strive for at Jackmont: building partnerships that honor a city’s flavor and the people who create it,” said Daniel Halpern, CEO of Jackmont Hospitality. “Middle Child isn’t just a great sandwich shop. It’s a Philly original, and we’re proud to help share that authenticity with millions of travelers every year.”

Middle Child PHL is open daily, serving breakfast, lunch, and all-day sandwiches to guests traveling through Terminal D.
